Engine and Performance 1976 FXE

The FXE-1200 is powered by a 1,207 cc (74 cubic inch) Shovelhead V-twin engine. This engine configuration is notable for its distinctive 45-degree angle between the cylinders, which contributes to the bike’s characteristic rumbling sound and performance traits. The maximum power output is claimed to be around 65 brake horsepower (bhp) at approximately 5,500 rpm.
